Police have found the wanted VW Polo that was allegedly used in the murder of 30-year-old Johannesburg student Olorato Mongale.
Mongale was brutally murdered at the weekend and her body was found at a sidewalk in Lombardy, Johannesburg, two hours after she informed her friend that she was going on a date with a man called John.
Reportedly that Mongale had met the man at a mall in Bloemfontein, Free State, last week and following days of communication, they arranged to go on a date. The man told her he would come to Johannesburg.

VW POLO ALLEGEDLY USED IN MURDER OF OLORATO MONGALE FOUND IN KZN
South African Police Service (SAPS) spokesperson Brigadier Athlenda Mathe said a multidisciplinary team led by the anti-kidnapping task team had seized the vehicle at a panel beater workshop in Phoenix, Durban.
The investigation reportedly first led the team to a lodge in Kew, Johannesburg, where the two suspects had booked a room.
